Zhang Jindong
President of Suning Group
Age: 48

After 15 years of direct competition between local and foreign enterprises, a group of prominent local home appliance chain businessmen represented by Zhang Jindong have emerged the winners. And Zhang's Suning is undoubtedly one of the biggest winners --it took the lead in establishing a successful home appliance chain, it harnessed the capital market to fuel its rapid expansion, and it pushed for organic growth.

Over the next 10 years, Zhang will continue to promote Suning's transformation to become "more technological and smarter," by creating a high tech and efficient platform for its purchasing processes. It hopes to one day be the next "Wal-Mart" of China.
