Qualcomm employees don't have to leave the office to get access to quality health care. The company's headquarters in San Diego has its own fully staffed primary health center, with access to physical therapy, a staff nutritionist, health coach, and a full-time physician. All services are available for just a $10 co-pay, with no billing to insurance required.

The chipmaker for wireless communications also foots the dime for 100% percent of employee health-care premiums, and there are no deductions. Qualcomm offers long-term care insurance, as well as scholarships and tuition assistance programs for employees and their families.

Nearly three-quarters of employees participate in a stock purchase plan that lets them contribute up to 15% of their salary through regular payroll deductions to purchase shares of Qualcomm stock at a minimum 15% discount. More than 90% of non-exempt and exempt employees received a bonus award in the last year.
