"An important goal for the seventh-generation Corvette was to create a more intimate and connected driving experience," Mike Bailey, chassis vehicle system engineer, said.
While the tires are narrower than an today's Corvette, thanks to new tire designs, they can still manage cornering forces similar to those of the present-day Vette.
