In its day, Duesenberg was America's premier luxury car brand and this is considered by some to be the most beautiful Duesenberg convertible ever made. The body on this car was made by the A.H Walker Body Company of Indianapolis which produced bodies for Duesenberg under the name "LaGrande."

This was the top-selling car at this year's Amelia Island collector car auctions. Taking place on Florida's northeast coast, the Amelia Island collector car concours and auctions have become among the nation's premier collector car events.
