It's not immediately clear how the Focus fits so much cargo space -- nearly as much as the C-Max under its sloping hatchback -- but according to figures supplied by the automotive Web site Edmunds.com and the EPA, there's plenty of space in there. The Focus also has the benefit of being a fun-to-drive little car. (And you can get the really fun to drive Focus ST performance model, and still carry a lot of stuff.)
