Ford Motor Co. relied on an outside performance company, Kar Kraft, to extensively modify a few Ford Mustangs for extreme performance. For one thing, the Mustang's body had to be modified to fit the Boss' massive engine. While it was officially rated at 375 horsepower, actual output is said to be much higher.
