Every January, car collectors converge on Scottsdale, Ariz., for a cluster of car auctions. Barrett-Jackson, which is headquartered there, started the trend and, since car auctions attract collectors, others followed.

These are some of the most interesting cars being offered for sale this year. Among them will be the very first 2017 Acura NSX to roll off the production line. Barrett-Jackson has made a tradition of auctioning "VIN number one" cars like this one, with the proceeds going to charity.
