McConaughey got his start as David Wooderson in 'Dazed and Confused.' That was also the first time he uttered his iconic "alright alright alright" on the big screen.

In the 90's, he took on a number of different roles, including Vilmer Slaughter in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation,' Roger Sherman Baldwin in 'Amistad,' and Jake Tyler Brigance in 'A Time to Kill.'
