When this oil and gas exploration company wins, so do its employees. In 2011, employees received bonuses equal to 42% of their base pay. On top of bonuses, Hilcorp gives employees at least one $100 bill when it reaches a pre-determined goal for oil barrels produced.
And employees get help with transportation costs. HIlcorp offers to pay employees' costs for riding public transporation up to $3,000 per person. Can't take the bus? The company also pays for downtown parking, saving each employee more than $1,500 a year.
