  • Name: Elizabeth Rene
  • Age: 24
  • Home: Brooklyn, New York
  • Employer: McDonald's
  • Earns: $8.00 an hour

My mother was a single mom. I started working young. I still live with my mom and I help her out as much as I can. I will graduate in August with a degree in psychology from Kingsborough Community College. I hope to open my own clinic one day for people with mental disabilities. I am nervous that my manager knows I'll be joining the protest, but union organizers say I won't get fired.
