Lew lost a bundle shedding Citigroup stock when he returned to public service in 2009. When he sold some $50,000 to $100,000 worth of stock in April 2009, Citi was trading at $3.80 a share -- down from all- time highs above $55 a share when he was employed by Citigroup from 2006 through 2008.
