In all developed countries, women do more housework than men, but in Denmark that gap is the narrowest, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The average Danish man spends 3 hours, 37 minutes cooking, cleaning or caring for loved ones each day -- accounting for about 47% of the chores.

But he makes up for it by working more hours in the office. After adding up both unpaid and paid work hours, men work more than women. In most other countries, women still work longer hours than men, after adding paid and unpaid work.
