Faulkner County is full of bright young things. The area has three colleges and a median age of 26, making it a great place to go to school and win your first post-grad gig. White-collar back office jobs are its sweet spot.

Hewlett-Packard and Southwestern Energy moved in years ago and continue to add significantly to the area job count. Homegrown firms Privacy Star and Acxiom are ramping up in size and influence.

Recent transplant Inuvo Inc., an Internet marketing and technology company, relocated its corporate headquarters here from New York to lower overhead. The move is expected to spur 50 new jobs.
