What makes it great: L'Oréal is home to beauty brand royalty such as Maybelline cosmetics, Yves Saint Laurent's beauty line and Ralph Lauren fragrances. The glamorous company made almost $30 billion last year and has a heart as well -- by 2020, L'Oréal wants 100% of its products to have an environmental or social benefit. The culture is open and flexible, and employees have the freedom to switch roles throughout their careers.

What they're looking for: Applicants' ambitions and people skills should match those of the company's: L'Oréal wants to reach 1 billion new customers in the next decade. Opportunities exist for new grads in marketing, research, business development and other roles. A third of full-time hires are former interns.
