What makes it great: If you've soaped up with Dove products, savored a bite of Ben & Jerry's or taken a sip of Lipton iced tea, you've used Unilever products. Unilever's commitment to making sustainable living commonplace sets the company apart, says Stephen Lochhead, VP global resourcing and talent. The company's dedication to making an impact encourages employees "to pour heart and soul into the brand," he says.

What they're looking for: Unilever hires 800 grads a year globally in human resources, finance, marketing and other areas. The best candidates show they want to challenge uniformity and have a strong empathy for others worldwide. "We want people who have great drive around who they are and what they want to achieve," Lochhead says.
