In this Silicon Valley enclave, a typical four-bedroom costs more than $1.7 million, according to Coldwell Banker's annual Home Listing Report.
But you won't find anything too lavish or overly flamboyant for those prices.You're getting Midwestern-type charm with a California accent, said Budge Huskey, president of Coldwell Banker Real Estate.
This home, which went on the market in July, offers plenty of handcrafted touches, including vaulted wood ceilings, cork floors and nice built-ins. There are also large windows with views of the private, one-acre yard that is studded with trees.
