"The uncertainty -- it's oppressive. Fiscal cliff, Europe, the election, our debt, QE3, health care, to name a few. It's hard to rationalize a big capital expenditure when there are so many external factors beyond my business that can come out of nowhere to throw a wrench into the mix."
