8 worst terms of service ever

Websites have one-sided, unfair contracts. Apps access phone features that let them spy on you. You're not reading the fine print. But you should.

Twitpic

bad privacy policies twitpic

Used for sharing photos on Twitter, Twitpic has one-sided terms that any self-respecting artist would despise.

Twitpic takes credit for your photos, the company keeps your deleted images and you can't sue the company after a year. You still own the copyright to the work, but what's a copyright if you can't take credit?

The provisions are so bad that the consumer protection project Terms of Service Didn't Read gave it the worst possible grade.
