This Indian university cranks out top-tier tech execs

Vinod Khosla was one of the cofounders of Sun Microsystems, which was acquired by Oracle (ORCL) in 2010. He now heads up his own venture capital firm, Khosla Ventures. He received a bachelor's in electrical engineering from IIT Dehli.

"The IITs probably are the hardest school in the world to get into, to the best of my knowledge," Khosla told CBS News in 2003.
