More than 100,000 people currently eligible for Medicaid are signing up in states that are not expanding the public health program under Obamacare.
Only 24 states are moving forward with Medicaid expansion at this time, and a few remain on the fence. Those opting out are forgoing billions of dollars in federal funds.
The poor will not have access to Obamacare in states that don't expand Medicaid.
