Tomorrow's User Interface
(Business 2.0) – Part science fair, part art exhibit, the Siggraph conference provides an intriguing window on the future of interactive design. This year's confab, which begins on July 27 in San Diego, explores what happens when computers migrate into buildings, objects, and clothes. Highlights will include the iTube, a projection screen that responds to body movements, and Smart-Its, a sensor technology attached to build-it-yourself furniture to provide proper assembly instructions. --BRAD WIENERS |
