(Business 2.0) – Home-improvement spending was a pillar of stability during the downturn, so Wall Street views Home Depot's Q4 results as a bellwether of the improving economy. When America's second-largest retailer releases numbers on Feb. 24, analysts will also gauge the success of Home Depot's new "Call, Click, or Visit" marketing initiative, which includes its first-ever holiday catalog and an expanded e-commerce presence.
