Now, the Rematch

(Business 2.0) – Former CSFB investment banker Frank Quattrone returns to the courtroom on April 13 to begin his retrial on obstruction of justice charges. To recap: Quattrone is accused of forwarding an e-mail that urged colleagues to "clean up" files in advance of an impending regulatory investigation. After six days of deliberations, the original jury split eight to three in favor of conviction, but Quattrone may have the advantage this time around. Legal experts say the government's case is highly speculative, and Quattrone has had plenty of time to sharpen the stumbling testimony that undermined his credibility with the first jury.
