Nike's New Vision

(Business 2.0) – Not content merely to help athletes jump higher and run faster, Nike wants to help them see better too. As early as late July, it will join forces with Bausch & Lomb to release MaxSight, a line of performance-enhancing tinted contact lenses. Orioles slugger Brian Roberts and other pros have been testing the contacts in place of sunglasses. Offerings include green-hued lenses that heighten golf-course contrast and a red version that makes baseballs and soccer balls easier to see.
