Sorry Guys, She's Taken
By Henry Goldblatt

(FORTUNE Magazine) – They call her the "Money Honey," and lots of guys on Wall Street apparently daydream about an idyllic life with CNBC's pouty anchorwoman, Maria Bartiromo. Well, they can stop now. Maria, best known for her Wall Street savvy, Mediterranean good looks, and Mary Hart-like legs, was recently engaged to her longtime sweetheart, Jonathan "Jono" Steinberg, owner of the Individual Investor financial media conglomerate. When we last checked in, Jono was trying to hawk part of his company and dissolve his hedge funds. A wedding for two media superstars can be awfully costly. (For more on Steinberg, check out "Why Hedge Funds and Magazines Don't Mix," June 22, in the fortune.com archive.)

If you want to send a wedding present, you're going to have to wait. They're not yet registered at Tiffany, Bergdorf, Bloomingdale's, or Saks--though in this case you've got to wonder whether it might be more appropriate if Goldman Sachs had a bridal registry.
