(FORTUNE Magazine) – After a 12-month gestation, the world's largest millennium baby, AOL Time Warner, entered the world when it began trading on Jan. 12. (Estimated birth weight: 115.5 billion lbs.) What can we expect from this bundle of joy (parent company of FORTUNE's publisher)? To find out, we consulted financial astrologer Raymond Merriman. --Jason Tanz

A Head for Business: "Well, it has Venus rising 120 degrees from Mars, which is very favorable right off the bat. Venus and Mars have a great correlation to successful stock prices. On top of that, the company is a Capricorn, which rules business, and it's positioned in the 11th house, an area that indicates financial success."

Overconfidence: "I see a moon 180 degrees from Jupiter, which indicates a tendency to overestimate. [The company] will be successful, but it will oftentimes fall short of its lofty expectations."

Conflict: "There is something here that could indicate some problems a little later on, maybe about 3 1/2 to five years down the road. Either it's about missing projections or it's a power play involving a woman."
