Cellphones The latest phone gear is guaranteed to turn heads--and it just might make you more productive too.

(FORTUNE Small Business) – NOKIA 6800 $249 With older phones-cum-keyboards, I always felt a bit like Gulliver--you know, the part where he sends text messages to the Lilliputians? But Nokia has delivered a design that's not only hip but functional. Flip over the keypad to unveil a comfortable, oversized thumbboard. Best of all, by year-end the 6800 will double as a BlackBerry, so you can pick up and send office e-mail. Pricing based on two-year Cingular contract. www.nokia.com

SONY ERICSSON P800 $650 Before you start hyperventilating over that pricetag, keep in mind that you'll shave off $200 to $300 with a new contract. More important, this is a three-in-one device: The P800 includes a functional, though hardly awe-inspiring, camera, an impressive web browser, and an MP3 music player, which takes full advantage of a nice loudspeaker. That speaker also comes in handy if you want to use the phone to actually--gasp!--make a phone call. www.sonyericsson.com

MOTOROLA I95CL LIMITED EDITION $499 When I pull out a phone, I like getting oohs and ahs. When I pulled this baby out, I got "What the hell is that?" The translucent design won raves in my informal tests at a trendy, dark bar, but no one appreciated its shockingly bright UFO-style lights when in use. Perhaps I should have mentioned that this Nextel-compatible phone (so it's walkie-talkie enabled) is available exclusively through Bloomingdale's. Nontrendsetters can get a standard i95cl (read nontranslucent) at less exclusive stores for under $300. www.motorola.com
