(FORTUNE Small Business) – After Dennis Kozlowski and his $6,000 shower curtain, you'd think that CEOs would have shelved any grand decorating ambitions. But the yen to tell the world you've arrived can be overwhelming, says Sue Firestone, CEO of SFA Design, a fast-growing decorating and design company with offices in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. "It's not unusual to have 30 plasma TVs in a house," says Firestone, 50, whose clients include San Francisco Giant Barry Bonds as well as Jeff Henley, chairman of software maker Oracle and proud owner of this updated Mediterranean-style home office in Hope Ranch, Calif. --ELLYN SPRAGINS
