(MONEY Magazine) – -- Your Health (July) listed the National Chronic Pain Outreach Center as a source for information on pain clinics. The organization's correct name is the National Chronic Pain Outreach Association, and it offers its pamphlet How to Choose a Pain Clinic to members for $1 and to nonmembers for $2. -- Family Finance (August) incorrectly reported the telephone number for the Golden Rule Insurance Co. The correct number is 317-297-4123. -- In the August cover story ''The Best Mutual Funds for the 1990s,'' the national toll-free phone listing was omitted for the Columbia Special Fund. The number is 800-547-1707; for Oregonians, it's 800-452-4512. -- In the August mutual fund rankings, incorrect yields were listed for the top seven high-yield corporate bond funds. The correct yields were: Kemper High Yield, 13%; Delaware Group-Delchester I and Vanguard Fixed Income-High Yield, 12.5% each; Financial Bond Shares-High Yield, 12.2%; Fidelity High Income, 12.3%; Cigna High Yield and Investment Portfolio-High Yield, 12% each. -- In August's ''Alphabetical Guide to 900 Mutual Funds,'' IDEX and IDEX Fund II should have been designated as currently closed to new investors.
