(MONEY Magazine) – Soon after the 1992 cable-TV law takes effect April 1, the Federal Communications Commission will issue guidelines covering the price of basic cable service, which could lower your rate by as much as 20%. The FCC will also start ruling on whether certain other cable rate hikes are unreasonable.
