RAP CONTEST If Arrested Development likes your rap best, you win computers for your school -- and money for yourself!

(MONEY Magazine) – If you like to write and you like to rhyme, here's a chance to win prizes for your school and yourself. Create a rap lyric on the importance of staying in school, and send it to us. Arrested Development, the rap group, will help us pick the winner! First prize: $10,000 worth of computers donated by Apple Computer and awarded to your school -- plus a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond for you. Another 100 winners get MONEY for Kids T-shirts. Lyrics must be original. You must write them yourself, without copying anyone else's words or ideas, not even a little. Lyrics must be no longer than 30 lines. Type or print legibly in English on 8 1/2-inch-by-11-inch paper. Entries will be judged on the following criteria (of equal importance): imaginative use of rhyme, creativity of rhythm, appropriateness to the theme and overall artistic impression. Entries become property of the sponsor, MONEY for Kids, and may not be published elsewhere without permission. Include your name, home address, age, grade and your school's name; you must be 14 or younger on April 15, 1993. Entries must be received by April 15, 1993. Mail them to Rap Contest, MONEY for Kids, Time & Life Building, Rockefeller Center, New York, N.Y. 10020. You can write to us at that address to get complete official rules % and/or a list of winners. Winners announced by June 30, 1993. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws apply. No purchase necessary.
