Kathy and Brad Sutter
By Erica Garcia

(MONEY Magazine) – OCCUPATIONS: Secretary; sales manager

RESIDENCE: Mogadore, Ohio

BOTTOM LINE: $355,500. The Sutters have $210,000 in retirement accounts; $12,500 in a variable annuity; $35,000 in Roadway Express and Coors, their employers; $58,000 in a taxable account; and $40,000 cash.

MONEY HONEYS: College sweethearts who wed in their teens, Kathy, 47, and Brad, 46, set goals early: Save as much as possible, send the kids to college, buy a house and pay it all off by age 40. In fact, the Sutters are passionate about living debt-free. In addition to their $150,000 house, they've paid off their three cars and a motorcycle.

HOG-WILD: Brad has a passion of his own: Harley-Davidson. "I want to own any company that has 100,000 people running around America with its name tattooed on their arms," he says he reasoned when he bought the stock in the early '80s. He has also made some $12,000 buying and selling the bikes themselves.
