(MONEY Magazine) – ALL OF ASIA We've long been fans of Cathay Pacific's All Asia Pass, which allows you to visit 17 cities in the region over 21 days for $999. So we're happy to note that Malaysia Airlines now offers a similar 30-day Access Asia Pass, which includes round-trip flights from Los Angeles to Kuala Lumpur and unlimited travel between 24 Asian cities, including Benpasar (in Bali), Bangkok, Beijing, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila, Phnom Penh, Phuket, Shanghai and Tokyo. You must establish your itinerary 14 days in advance and (except for Kuala Lumpur) may visit each city only once. The pass costs $747 plus taxes (which depend on where you're flying) for travel between Aug. 15 and Nov. 15. Add another $150 for travel June 1 to Aug. 14 and Nov. 16 to Jan. 14, 2003. For more details, go to www.malaysiaairlines.com or call 800-552-9264. STORAGE TO GO If you frequently move digital photo, music, text or data files from one computer to another--from work to home, say--check out DiskOnKey flash storage devices. These tiny, easy-to-use hard drives look like thick highlighting markers and range in capacity from 8MB ($30) to 128MB ($150). Just pop off the cap, plug the DiskOnKey into a USB port on your PC or Mac and save. The computer recognizes it like any other drive, and there's no need to install software. ISLANDS, OFF-PEAK A trip to the Caribbean becomes less imperative as the mercury rises here at home, but choose an island with a naturally moderate year-round climate and you can score unprecedented summer savings. On Anguilla, which boasts temperatures around 80[degrees]F throughout the year, you can stay in an ocean-view room at the Anguilla Great House beach resort, a luxurious hideaway on 2 1/2 miles of white-sand beach, for $180 a day per person, double occupancy, including meals, drinks and scuba lessons. The deal, available until Dec. 18, is nearly 40% off the usual rate. For details, go to www.anguilla-vacation.com or call 800-553-4939. GREAT PRINTS Digital shutterbugs seeking prints as rich in color and detail as traditional photos should focus on the $199 Lexmark Z65 printer. Its 4,800 x 1,200 dpi resolution is tops in this price range. The Z65 has two paper trays and automatically selects the right paper--photo or conventional--for your job. Plus, it pumps out an impressive 21 pages of black-and-white text a minute. TWO SEASONS IN ONE You like to ski and you like to golf. Imagine doing both in the same day. Canada's Whistler Blackcomb area has the longest ski season in North America, extending through June and, for glacier skiing, July. Meanwhile, the mountain's base, which thaws in May, is five minutes from the links. The Fairmont Chateau Whistler (800-866-5577) makes this unique experience a deal: A two-night package including lift passes, a round of golf and breakfast each day is $299 per person, double occupancy--a 35% savings.
