(MONEY Magazine) – PARIS WITHOUT THE WAIT Just how long is that line to see the Mona Lisa in the summertime? Buy a Paris Museum Pass and you'll never have to find out: It gets you in without having to stand in the tourist-heavy lines at the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay and 70 other museums and monuments in and around Paris (excluding temporary exhibits). Available for one-day (15 euros, or about $16), three-day (30 euros) or five-day (45 euros) periods, the pass can be found at Paris tourist bureaus, major subway and regional rail stations and participating museums.

STATESIDE There is an American equivalent that's called CityPass, with deals for museums and tourist sites in seven cities and one region, including Boston, New York and San Francisco. The San Francisco pass--$36 for adults, $28 for kids ages five to 17--includes entry to the SFMOMA and the Exploratorium, as well as a seven-day pass on the city's transportation system. The Southern California pass gets you three days at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure plus a day each at Knott's Theme Park, SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo.
