Summer's Best Cellars
By Amy Wilson and Farnoosh Torabi

(MONEY Magazine) – A glut in California wines, coupled with a flood of inexpensive imports (particularly from Australia), makes it easier than ever to buy a good bottle of wine for under $15. For the last languid days of summer we like Vinum Cellars CNW (Chard-No-Way) Cuvee ($10), a buttery, crisp Chenin Blanc that's sure to seduce even the most loyal Chardonnay fans, and Salomon Estate's Norwood Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz, a plummy red that you'd swear is mispriced at $9.95. Other standouts: Nepenthe's Sauvignon Blanc ($13) and Bonny Doon's Clos de Gilroy ($12.50). Pop two bottles into Crate & Barrel's insulated nylon Portable Picnic ($21.95), a backpack/shoulder bag, and you're good to go. --AMY WILSON AND FARNOOSH TORABI
