Major Stock Funds

(MONEY Magazine) – Complete table not available. For the complete Major Stock Funds list please see the print magazine

>>Here are the latest results for 1,722 equity funds that are listed on the Nasdaq, have assets of at least $116 million, are available to individual investors for a minimum investment of $25,000 or less and have been in operation since Jan. 1, 2003 or earlier. We've also switched data providers--we're using Lipper this year. As a result, some of the categories and peer-group rankings may look different from those in previous years. For example, Lipper classifies Fidelity Magellan as a large-cap core fund and Vanguard 500 Index as an S&P 500 index fund; in previous years both were categorized as large-cap blend funds. The peer-group rankings for each of the past four calendar years reflect these new groups.

(Note: MONEY 100 funds are included in the tables regardless of assets or minimum initial investment.)
