Wal-Mart Revises $4 Prescription Program
Dow Jones

DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) said its $4 prescription program will now cover a 90-day prescription for $10 and provide additional women's-health medications and a new $4 over-the-counter offer.

The Bentonville, Ark., retail giant said the 90-day option will give customers and physicians more choices.

Under the program, Wal-Mart will fill prescriptions for up to 350 generic medications at $10 for a 90-day supply.

The company began the $4 prescription program in September 2006.
