TearLab Announces Withdrawal of Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 09, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TearLab Corporation (NASDAQ:TEAR) (TSX:TLB) (“TearLab” or the “Company”) announced today that it has withdrawn the proposed underwritten public offering of its common stock, due to market conditions.

The Company believes that it is not in the best interest of its stockholders to raise equity capital in the current market environment.  TearLab will continue to evaluate options to fund its business over the longer-term while, at the same time, prudently manage its resources.
