International Commercial Television, Inc.: Derma Wand Walks Down the Aisle for the First Time
August 22, 2006: 12:21 a.m. EST

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON (Market Wire) -

International Commercial Television, Inc. (OTCBB: ICTL) ("ICTV" or "The Company") a premier, full-service international retail and direct response television (DRTV) marketing company targeting the multi-billion dollar health and beauty industry is pleased to announce that it has been advised that the Derma Wand and associated products will be on Canadian retail shelves in September 2006.

Interwood Direct, the Company's licensed Canadian distributor of the Derma Wand, has informed the ICTV's management that it has concluded discussions with a premier Canadian drug store chain for the retail launch of the Derma Wand in to the traditional retail market place.

Interwood Direct has received the initial opening purchase order for the chain wide retail introduction of the Derma Wand and Interwood expects product to be on the shelves by late September. This will be the first time the Derma Wand will be exposed to the retail consumer in North America. Mr. Rob Woodroffe, CEO of Interwood Direct states "With the extensive television exposure the Derma Wand infomercial has had to the Canadian consumer, I expect the velocity of sale at retail store level to be substantial." Mr. Woodroffe further stated "The Derma Wand has had one of the most successful sell through rates on television in Interwood's history and with the extensive television branding and consumer awareness the Derma Wand infomercial has established; I have no doubt the Derma Wand will be well received by the Canadian retail consumer."

Interwood has requested that the Company does not announce the name of the drug store chain at this time as Interwood are in negotiations with other Canadian retail outlets. The name of the drug store chain will announced once the Derma Wand and associated products have been placed on the retail shelves.

ICTV also wishes to advise that it has begun drawing down on the line of credit extended by Media Funding Partners Inc. under the terms announced in the Company's news release of May 19th 2006 and that the Derma Wand infomercial campaign has begun a full nation wide television rollout of the Derma Wand infomercial in the US on both major national cable networks and broadcast stations. Based on preliminary television sales, the Company has informed it's manufacturers of the Derma Wand and the Company's DermaVital skincare line to request increased production and has placed new orders. Television sales and media spends are being analyzed at this time and once completed a comprehensive news release will be issued.
