Raytheon Oakley Systems to Integrate Insider Threat Solutions with McAfee's ePolicy Orchestrator
PR Newswire

SALT LAKE CITY, April 17, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Oakley Systems, Inc., a Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) leader in insider threat protection, will integrate its user activity monitoring, investigation and forensics capabilities with McAfee(R) ePolicy Orchestrator(R) (ePO(TM)), an industry-leading security and compliance risk management solution.

Raytheon Oakley's ability to monitor the complete range of endpoint activities and provide DVR-like replay of any policy violation or malicious incident complements and enhances the integrated products' value to enterprise as well as government customers.

Raytheon Oakley has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance(TM), a technology partnering program that accelerates the development of interoperable security products and simplifies the integration of those products within complex customer environments. Through the program, Raytheon Oakley will be able to validate the compatibility of specific management functions in ePO with its SureView(TM) product for enterprise commercial customers and InnerView(TM) product for government customers.

"This partnership is exciting for our mutual federal and enterprise customers who will now have an accelerated path to true interoperability between our insider threat protection platform and McAfee security solutions," said Derek Smith, president of Raytheon Oakley Systems. "This simplifies deployment into complex environments and meets our common vision of not just providing point products, but powerful integrated solutions that prevent threats, lower risk over time and demonstrate compliance."

Raytheon Oakley Systems' SureView and InnerView are comprehensive insider threat protection solutions that help detect, prevent and resolve insider policy violations. The SureView and InnerView platforms monitor all activity across an organization's desktops and network, including mobile and offline users, and even allow selected views into encrypted web traffic, e-mail and attachments. SureView and InnerView are the only solutions that provide DVR-like incident replay, which allows an organization to take targeted action on acceptable use violations and provides powerful forensic support for investigations into more serious fraud, theft and other malicious threats.

Raytheon Oakley will be using McAfee's software development kit and application programming interfaces to integrate with ePO and leverage the first interoperability category made available to Security Innovation Alliance partners through the program.

"McAfee is pleased to work with Raytheon Oakley on this alliance and interoperability," said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances at McAfee. "The Security Innovation Alliance provides an efficient way for our partners to validate compatibility with McAfee security risk management solutions."
