MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EdR  (NYSE: EDR), a leader in the ownership, development and management of quality collegiate housing communities, today announced that Dr. John L. Ford has resigned from the company's Board of Directors effective immediately in accordance with the company's board succession plan.

Dr. Ford has been a member of EdR's Board since our 2005 initial public offering.
