Price range: $30,000 to $40,000Fuel economy: 15 city/20 highway Sharing its body design forward of the bed with the Tahoe SUV, the new Avalanche is, for a change a good-looking truck. It's big, too, but its fuel economy is similar to that of a mid-size vehicle. The Avalanche feels good to drive with impressively car-like road feel and handling. Given poor rear visibility across the truck bed, parking can be a challenge, so I would recommend getting the available back-up camera. |
