Top gear: This is now the smallest Honda, but it casts a big shadow. Exceptional handling and smooth-shifting gearbox, combined with standard safety features such as side-curtain airbags.
Cool feature: High squared-off roof makes back seat roomy. Fold the seats down, and you can carry a stepladder inside.
Hit the brakes: Lighter on charisma than some Hondas. My wife hated the thinly padded seats.
Finish line: Flexible and economical enough to haul business loads during the week; fun enough to want to drive it on your days off.
