Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in a blended portfolio of growth and value stocks of small-cap companies. The fund's manager generally defines a small-cap company as one having a market capitalization, at the time of acquisition, within the range of market capitalizations of companies constituting the Russell 2000 Index.
