Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in common stocks of small- to mid-sized companies. The adviser considers small- and mid-sized companies to be those with market capitalizations not greater than either that of the largest company in the Russell 2500 Index ($16.48 billion as of July 31, 2015) or $12 billion, whichever is greater at the time of initial purchase.
