Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in equity securities of medium-capitalization ("mid-cap") companies. The fund managers consider a mid-cap company to be one that has market capitalization within the range of $1.5 billion to $12.5 billion. The fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in equity securities, of which at least 80% of its total assets will be invested in the equity securities of mid-cap companies.
