Investment Objective The investment seeks to provide a consistent level of current income exempt from federal income tax with a secondary emphasis on maximizing total return through capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets- plus any borrowings for investment purposes- in municipal securities that generate income exempt from federal income tax- but not necessarily the federal alternative minimum tax ("AMT"). These securities include securities of municipal issuers located in Texas as well as in other states- territories and possessions of the United States. The fund may invest more than 25% of its total assets in bonds of issuers in Texas.
