Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term total return. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in investments of small-capitalization (small-cap) companies. Small-cap companies are companies with market capitalizations (the total market value of a company's outstanding stock) under $3.5 billion at the time of purchase. It generally invests in equity securities that the fund's investment manager believes are undervalued at the time of purchase and have the potential for capital appreciation. It may invest up to 25% of its total assets in foreign securities.
