Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund seeks its investment objective by investing primarily in stocks selected by the sub-adviser, Wellington Management Company LLP ("Wellington Management"), on the basis of potential for capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of mid-capitalization companies. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in securities of foreign issuers and non-dollar securities.
