Investment Objective The investment seeks above-average total return through a combination of current income and capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings made for investment purposes) in fixed-income securities. It is anticipated that the fund's weighted average duration will generally be between two and five years. The fund will purchase only investment-grade fixed-income securities. It may invest any portion of its assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities of Canadian issuers and up to 20% of its assets in other U.S. dollar-denominated foreign securities.
